CITIZEN-GOVERNMENT
RELATIONS MANAGEMENT

CivicRADAR allows citizens to make service requests on "nuts and bolts issues" directly to their local governments and follow up on the status of those requests. CivicRADAR will therefore offer a unique opportunity for high-level interaction between citizens and governments while simultaneously providing governments a new way to track internal workflows and the allocation of resources.

CivicRADAR marks the intersection between e-government and citizen relation management software: the first tool specifically designed to address the needs of citizen and government users alike. In its development, CPEC has capitalized on its relationships with citizen groups and municipal representatives to design a tool that will enhance the productivity of municipal agencies and offer new opportunities for citizen input into local decision-making processes.

Participating communities are utilizing customized versions of the
CivicRADAR application to improve communication with their citizens on issues appropriate to their residents.

We are pleased to also provide information on another early adopter, The Town of Weston, CT. You can learn more about Weston's implementation of CivicRADAR and some of it's resident's requests on the Weston page.
